Conor McGregor publicly addresses rapper posting alleged ‘x-rated photo’ of UFC star on social media

Conor McGregor has responded after being caught up in an alleged nude photo scandal with rapper Azealia Banks.

Conor McGregor has publicly addressed allegedly sending nude images to a female rapper for the first time.

The former two-weight UFC champion found himself at the centre of more controversy this week after pictures emerged of him 'kissing' a mystery woman on a beach.

Alongside that scandal, the Irishman was accused of sending unsolicited pictures to New York rapper Azealia Banks on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Banks, known for a plethora of online feuds as well as the hit song '212' from 2011, took to the platform to post two alleged images of McGregor that appeared to be sent via direct message.

The pictures appeared to show McGregor naked in the mirror with a weight on his manhood, with the caption "Lifting weights".

The message sent read, "Don't be a rat cos all rats get caught" and alongside alleged screenshots, Banks wrote: "How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell.

What did Conor McGregor say on social media?

"@TheNotoriousMMA n**** do you know who the f*** I am? This is HARAM".

In a second post, she said the 37-year-old had "sexually harassed" her.

McGregor had broken his silence by merely wishing himself a happy birthday but offered no response until on Monday evening, when he replied to a user's post.

McGregor had been tweeting about politics in his native Ireland about news that Mairead McGuinness is running for President, prompting someone to reply, "This is why the big news is Conor's giant c*** rather than the facts he is spraying".

McGregor then referenced the naked pictures which surfaced, writing: "Don’t let them distract you with my G C while they rob our country blind!"

As is normal practice, McGregor has incredibly active online and has been posting a slew of videos from his yacht while on holiday in Florida.

What is Conor McGregor's UFC status?

McGregor has not fought inside the Octagon since a 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier, with a fight against Michael Chandler cancelled last year after he suffered a broken toe.

Dana White has been coy about the possibility of McGregor returning but according to David Feldman, the president of the BKFC promotion which he is involved in, 'The Notorious' is back in the UFC testing pool and wants to fight on the mooted card at the White House.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani show, Feldman revealed: "He told me in person. He whispered in my ear, he said, 'I'm in the testing pool.' He said, 'I'm getting ready to make my comeback. I'm going to fight on that big card and then I'm gonna have another fight and then we can talk.'"

Feldman claimed that McGregor has two fights on his UFC contract and has intentions of fighting for BKFC in a bare knuckle encounter.
