However, five-time major winner Brooks Koepka failed to make the cut as he ended with two over after 36 holes.
Koepka was taking part in his second PGA Tour event since returning from LIV Golf.
On Friday, a video went viral on social media, which showed a streamer being handed a ban from PGA Tour events.
YouTuber Jack Doherty had offered a fan $100 to yell during Mackenzie Hughes' backswing.
Police quickly got involved to remove the fan and then Doherty, who was trying to plead his innocence.
He was heard saying: "I didn't do anything."
As per HITC, an official later told Doherty that he has been banned from attending future PGA Tour events.
The official said: "If you come back here again before this tournament is over, you will be arrested, and then we’ll go through that whole process. In addition to that, I’m trespassing you from all future PGA Tour tournaments.
"If you show up again at a PGA Tour tournament again, you will be arrested. For the foreseeable future until we can work this out."
SPORTbible has contacted the PGA Tour for comment.
A PGA Tour spokesperson said: “The WM Phoenix Open is a bucket-list event with one of the most unique fan experiences in all of sport.
"The PGA TOUR and The Thunderbirds are committed to protecting the integrity of the competition and providing an exceptional experience for all fans. Disruptive fan behavior will not be tolerated and anyone violating the Fan Code of Conduct is subject to immediate ejection. We appreciate the swift action of tournament security and local law enforcement to identify and address disruptive behavior."
Doherty's action has also attracted criticism on social media, ex-PGA Tour pro Smylie Kauffman said on X: "Someone needs to give this kid a swirlie. And I volunteer as tribute."
The final two days of the WM Phoenix Open will take place this weekend.
