Golf fans think that the PGA Tour may have aimed a subtle dig at Bryson DeChambeau after his disastrous performance at the Ryder Cup.
On Sunday afternoon, 22 of the best golf players on the planet teed off at the at the Bethpage Black course in New York for the final round of the 2025 Ryder Cup.
After Team Europe, led by captain Luke Donald and star player Rory McIlroy, dominated the first rounds on Friday and Saturday, it appears all but certain that they will take the trophy back to Europe.
The visitors boast a seven point lead in the final round, meaning Team USA will need to claim nine points in the singles matches if they hope to pull off a spectacular comeback.

But things haven't started well for the hosts as DeChambeau quickly fell behind in his match, something that the official Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Tour social media accounts was quick to post about.

For his match on Sunday, DeChambeau is competing against Matt Fitzpatrick but has so far struggled to keep up with the Englishman, putting his nation's hopes of winning the Ryder Cup in further jeopardy.
After just six holes the popular American was four shots behind his opponent, giving him a difficult challenged if he hopes to climb back to a draw or a win in the remaining 12 holes.

And it is exactly this that the PGA Tour X account decided to point out online, writing: "Fitzpatrick 4 UP thru 6 on DeChambeau."
Not long after the post was made, fans angrily pointed out that it was the first time that the social media account had posted about the world no. 21 all weekend, despite the fact he is one of the biggest names in the sport.
Reacting to the post, one fan wrote: "Hilarious that this is the first time the pga tour twitter account has mentioned Bryson DeChambeau."
While another replied: "I mean, they are probably embarrassed. He has been playing so badly. 1 point four and he’s the talisman man of the US team."

And one joked: "I swear this is a pro Europe account."
Some fans have also suggested that the motivation behind the post could be due to DeChambeau's high-profile within PGA rivals LIV golf and the fact that his opponent is a PGA player.
Things only got worse for DeChambeau as shortly after the post was made Fitzpatrick claimed a five point lead in the singles match.

But things could yet change as the American has fought back to be just one shot behind through 15 holes, giving him four holes to try and redeem himself and keep the US's hopes of a comeback alive.
