Kai Trump was in attendance at the 2026 Masters at Augusta this month as a VIP guest, having the pleasure of witnessing Rory McIlroy retain the title.
The 18-year-old had been treated to a luxury experience at the tournament as she posed with stars like Bryson DeChambeau.
It may not surprise people to know that she would be a fan of golf, with her grandfather being Donald Trump, the current US president, who owns several golf courses around the world, with this being one of his favourite pastimes.
However, despite this being a weekend of great experiences, it was not all smooth sailing, as she suffered a âscaryâ allergic reaction that needed urgent treatment.

Trump opened up about her experience on her YouTube channel while preparing for her prom, giving details about the âscaryâ incident.
She said: âI was using hand soap on my face when I was at Augusta to wash off my make-up, and I started getting these bumps on my neck.

âI had to get a shot â a steroid shot. The needle was like this big.
âNow, I donât have a rash anymore, but I had an allergic reaction to the hand soap on my face.
âI have very sensitive skin. It was so, so scary.â
Trump enjoyed her trip to the Masters overall, as she congratulated McIlroy on his historic back-to-back victories at the competition.
The 18-year-old has a strong presence on social media and has for a long time demonstrated her golfing ability.
As mentioned, her grandfather, Donald, is a huge fan of the sport and is often seen on the golf course when not completing his duties as US president.
On several occasions the 47th president of the United States has been seen on social media with his granddaughter playing a round of golf as Kai aims to improve her game and make it in the sport.
She will be aiming to become as big a name on the female circuit of the sport as the Northern Irish star, as she made her debut in the LPGA in November but had a difficult start after finishing 19 shots off the lead and 13 over par.
