Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren’s reported true feelings on the golfer have emerged following his DUI arrest.
On Friday (27 March), the 50-year-old, 15-time major winner was charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test after the car he was driving clipped a truck on Jupiter Island before rolling over.
Martin County Police reported that Woods was travelling at a “high rate of speed” when the incident took place.
The golfer was detained for eight hours before being released on bail.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek claimed that officers did not suspect Woods of alcohol impairment, with the golfer returning “triple zeros”. However, he refused to take a urine test.
It remains unclear what alleged substance the DUI charge relates to.
Since the incident, several high-profile figures have spoken out, including US President Donald Trump, who is friends with Woods, saying: “He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that’s all I know.
"Very close friend of mine. He’s an amazing person. Amazing man. But some difficulty. I don’t want to talk about it.”
Woods currently dates Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald’s son Donald Jr.
Vanessa’s alleged true feelings on Woods’ situation were reported by PEOPLE, with a source telling the outlet that she remains “happy” with the golfer despite having “her hands full sometimes”.
“Vanessa and Tiger are in love,” the source told PEOPLE.
“She is very supportive of his golf endeavours because, despite his age and injuries, golf dominates Tiger’s life.
“They are good together as they both have golf in their lives. That propels the romance in a certain sense.
“She has her hands full sometimes, but Vanessa also has a life of her own and children to care for, so she isn’t around it all the time.”
PEOPLE also reported on Woods’ ex-wife, Nordegren’s true feelings, with the pair having two children together.
“The kids are close with Tiger, so of course Elin cares too,” a source told PEOPLE.
“She wants him to be well. Both kids are great and love spending time with their dad. Elin’s concerned that he had another car crash and was arrested.”
The source then added: “[Elin] just wants him to make the best choices for himself. It’s about his health and being there for the kids.”
The duo married in 2004 before divorcing in 2010 after the golfer engaged in affairs with multiple women.
