
Donald Trump has revealed that he has spoken to Tiger Woods following his latest DUI arrest after he was involved in a turnover car crash.
Less than two weeks before The Masters tees off at Augusta National in Georgia, golf legend Woods was arrested at the scene of a car crash involving two drivers in Florida.
The 50-year-old was unhurt, but was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanour driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
After being kept in jail for eight hours, Woods was released on bond in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Since then, the golf legend has spoken to US President Trump, who he maintains a close relationship as he is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
When speaking to The New York Post, Trump was asked about his conversation with Woods and how he was doing following the crash.
âI think heâs doing great, heâs doing good," the American president claimed.
However, Trump sadly admitted that the incident showed just how much pain Woods is in every day, with the golf legend struggling with injuries to both his back and his right leg.
âHe tested negative for alcohol, as you know, and he is under a tremendous physical pressure from his various ailments, you know, the back and the leg,â Trump said.
âHe lives a life of pain. He has a lot of pain. Heâs an amazing guy. Heâs an amazing athlete. He does have pain.
âHe doesnât have an alcohol problem, but he does have pain.â
Across his career, Woods has undergone seven back surgeries and more than 20 operations on his right leg which was injured following his involvement in a car crash in February 2021.

Following the latest crash, Woods confirmed that he had been taking 'quite a few' prescription pills, with the report from his arrest adding that he was "likely under the influence of âsome type of medication or drugâ
The report added that Woodsâ eyes were âbloodshot and glassy,â and his pupils were âextremely dilatedâ.
Woods agreed to do a breathalyser test, which didn't show signs of alcohol, but refused to submit a urinalysis test for other drugs.
During a field sobriety exercises, a deputy observed him "limping and stumbling to the right".
Meanwhile in another, Woods was told to clap his hands and count out loud but failed to make contact with his hands between each count.
