Kimi Antonelli has responded to the viral clip of Kim Kardashian stealing his towel after the Monaco Grand Prix.

On Sunday afternoon Mercedes youngster Antonelli extended his lead atop the Formula One Drivers' standings by becoming the youngest-ever Monaco Grand Prix winner.

In doing so, the Italian also became the youngest driver in F1 history to complete a Grand Slam having achieved the win, pole position, fastest lap and led all 78-laps of Sunday's Grand Prix.

The win takes Antonelli to five wins and six podiums this season, leaving him 66 points ahead of second-placed Lewis Hamilton in the championship standings.

However, post-race it wasn't Antonelli's achievements at the centre of attention as many fans discussed a viral moment involving Kardashian, who attended the race amid widespread reports that she is dating Hamilton.

During the podium ceremony, the reality TV star was caught on camera 'stealing' his official winner's podium towel, reserved to wipe away sweat and champagne.

The had been sitting on a box which had F1 branding and the 'No.1' on it, clearly showing it was intended for the race winner.

And it's safe to say fans weren't happy with the moment, with one taking to reddit to write: "How do you even just pick up a thing that’s clearly not yours, inconceivable."

But, it appears that Antonelli himself isn't too bothered by the moment as he took to social media to post a reaction in a comedic sketch posted on the Mercedes team's accounts.

In the video published across the team's official channels, a confused Antonelli is seen deep in thought before asking the camera, 'I was wondering, have you seen my towel?'

Mercedes teammate George Russell then makes an appearance, asking the anyone had 'seen Kimi's towel?'

Finally, Antonelli is seen washing his hands before repeating the line, 'Have you seen my towel?'

The comedy of the sketch wasn't lost on the fans in the comments, as one joked: "Hmm, I wonder if Kim K knows anything?"

While another added: "I think Sir Lewis Hamilton might have the answer to that."

Kim Kardashian called out for 'rude' moment at Monaco GP

And stealing Antonelli's towel wasn't the only controversial moment involving Kardashian in Monaco, as the 45-year-old and her sister Khloe declined to give an interview to Martin Brundle.

Instead of stopping to speak to the Sky Sports legend, the Kardashian's just waved and walked away.

Following the moment, Kardashian was called "rude" and "disrespectful" for not speaking, with Brundle stating, “Normally people have a quick chat with us".
