The clip titled 'the difference' highlights the different approaches taken by Van Dijk and Terry during their in-game moments.

The video shows the Liverpool star blocking a pass, forcing the attacker (Moussa Sissoko) to shoot on his weak foot.

However, the Chelsea legend takes a different method as he attempts to close down the forward who eventually picks out his teammate for a goal.

The footage of Van Dijk and Terry defending got fans talking online.

One Twitter user wrote: "And Van Dijk defended it alone while Terry had someone with him."

A second tweeted: "Already Terry's posture puts him in an awkward position. Just see the difference between the way Van Dijk runs back and Terry's."

A third added: "The video is about the two defender's positioning. Van Dijk blocks the passing lane off to Son and forces Sissoko to hurry his shot."
