Teammate Thinks That Neymar Will Play For Real Madrid One Day

PSG come up against Real this week in the Champions League, could the match be Neymar's audition?

Considering it cost PSG £198 million last summer to sign Neymar you'd have thought it would now cost a hell of a lot to move him on but talk of a move to Real Madrid refuses to go away. Now one teammate has admitted he thinks it'll happen one day.

It would have seemed mad to say it in the summer but in retrospect Neymar's £198 million move to PSG wasn't that extortionate, considering what's happened since, and Barcelona's transfer release clause was far too low.

The Brazilian has since joined Ligue 1 and predictably done very well and now faces his biggest test to date this week when Neymar and PSG can pile more pressure on Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Both sides are amongst the favourites for the title but Real's poor La Liga season means they are under greatest pressure to go through, especially as finishing second in their group is the reason for the tie being so early.

Links saying Real will look to sign Neymar in the summer to reinvigorate their side keep coming up and fellow Brazilian Marcelo told tv channel Esporte Interativo he expects his international teammate to move to the Bernabeu saying:

"I think Neymar will play for Real Madrid one day. Would Neymar fit at Real Madrid? He would fit, for sure.

"It would be great if he came to Real Madrid. In my opinion the great players have to play at this club."

Of course it could be that Marcelo genuinely believes that Neymar will move to the Bernabeu, because he knows something or just has a feeling, or it could be a bit of underhanded work in the build up to the match between the two sides.

Florentino Perez is known to be a huge fan of Neymar and wanted to sign him before he moved to Barcelona and was even linked with a move before he left for the French capital but a move from Paris would be easier for everyone.

Strangely PSG captain Thiago Silva, another Brazilian, hardly made his current employers feel any easier about the situation when he refused to rule a move for his club teammate out, telling Canal +, "I don't know. I cannot speak for him. We know that sometimes the press releases things that are not true. But also others that are true.

"I cannot say anything. I hope he stays with us, he still has a lot of things to do with us, and he has already helped us a lot, and thanks to him and the work we do together, we are even more famous."
