When does the January transfer window close for foreign clubs? La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga rules explained

The Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga clubs are likely to be scrambling to secure deals before the January deadline. But when does the transfer window slam shut across Europe?

In England, the transfer window ends at 11pm on Tuesday, January 31. Indeed, with the deadline on the horizon, there is a lot of business still to be finalised for Premier League clubs.

Chelsea are looking to secure the £105million signing of Enzo Fernandez from Portuguese giants Benfica. Meanwhile, Arsenal are making a late attempt to bring in wantaway midfielder Moises Caicedo from Benfica.

However, Europe’s major clubs have been relatively quiet this month, with Bayern Munich’s loan move for Joao Cancelo one of the few pieces of major business on the horizon.
