The 50 biggest derbies in world football officially ranked with bitter rivalry in top spot

The top 50 biggest football derbies from around the world have been ranked.

Derby days are one of the best in the football calendar as fans get the chance to get one over their closest rivals.

In the United Kingdom, some of the biggest derbies include Liverpool vs Manchester United, Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic vs Rangers.

Meanwhile, clashes such as Real Madrid vs Barcelona, AC Milan vs Inter Milan, Boca Juniors vs River Plate and Fenerbahce vs Galatasaray are some of the biggest matches from around the globe.

Back in 2021, popular football magazine FourFourTwo decided to rank the world's biggest derbies and see which came out on top.

Their one rule is that teams can only be included once, which means United could only have one of Manchester City or Liverpool as their 'mortal enemy'.
