Wrexham striker Paul Mullin is being eyed by another EFL club following the Red Dragons’ promotion to the Championship.
Mullin, 30, is a hero in Wrexham and boasts an impressive 105 goals in 165 appearances for the club, backed by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
However, during the 2024/25 campaign, Mullin did not feature as often as he may have liked and finished the season with just three league goals in 26 appearances.

And although the Liverpudlian’s contract is set to run until the end of June 2027, he could fall further down the pecking order as Wrexham look to secure promotion to the Premier League come next season.
Mullin and fellow forward Ollie Palmer featured sporadically in 2024/25, but head coach Phil Parkinson was quick to dub the pair as “legends” when speaking earlier in May.
"Of course, there's always players who would have liked to have played more,” Parkinson told BBC Sport.

“Equally, contributions can come in many forms, so I'm delighted with everybody as a group.
"Mulls and Ollie will always be legends at this club for what they've done. They're under contract next year and they'll be back in pre-season ready to go again."
Wrexham have since released eight players – including former Premier League forward Steven Fletcher – and have been heavily linked with a potential move for Fulham captain Tom Cairney.
It has now emerged that League One side Wigan Athletic are keen on signing Mullin, as reported by The Wrexham Insider.

The report claims that he “may be allowed to depart on a free transfer to make a deal easier owing to his higher wages”.
During an interview with The Guardian in April 2024, Mullin explained how leaving the club was “never something I think about”.
“Obviously, I want to play at the highest level possible," said Mullin. "I’d love to play for Wales, the country where my nan was born. But in terms of leaving the club, it’s never something I think about. I signed a new contract with Wrexham in January because I absolutely adore it. I come home every day and see Albi [Mullin’s son], which is the main reason I signed in the first place.

“I’m here for the next three years. The fans love me, I love them and everything about the club. But if another club made an offer and Wrexham accepted it, then I’m in a position where they’re telling me to go. It’s not something I’m looking for or would wish to happen. It’s quite the opposite. I’d love to play in the Premier League for Wrexham. That’s the pipe dream.”
