Manchester United fans want the club to sign Victor Osimhen in an audacious swap deal after his fallout with current side Napoli.

The reigning Serie A champions posted a video to their TikTok account which mocked the striker after he missed a penalty during the 0-0 draw against Bologna on Saturday.

Osimhen's agent Roberto Calenda stated that he 'reserve(s) the right to take legal action' against Napoli over the video, and the player himself has removed all Napoli photos from his Instagram account.

Chelsea are said to be monitoring the forward's situation, with talkSPORT claiming that manager Mauricio Pochettino has demanded the club sign a striker in January.

United, meanwhile, have held a long-standing interest in Osimhen but, like the Blues, they were priced out of a move for him this summer.

Erik ten Hag's side instead signed Rasmus Hojlund from fellow Serie A side Atalanta for a total £72 million fee.

But United fans are calling for the club to launch a fresh move for Osimhen - and use Jadon Sancho as part of the deal.

Sancho is on a personal training programme away from the first team after a public dispute with Ten Hag over training performances.

He has not been selected for a matchday squad since August, and has reportedly been 'exiled' from using first team facilities.

Sancho looks likely to leave United in January - and fans believe the club could convince the player and Napoli to sanction a swap deal.

Taking to X (Twitter), one fan wrote: "Sancho + cash for Osimhen, anyone disagree?"

Another said: "United and Napoli should just do a swap between Sancho and Osimhen. Both players don't seem to have a future at their clubs."

A third added: "Swap Sancho for Osimhen + £50 million."

And a fourth joked: "Sancho, Van de Beek and three first round picks for Osimhen. Who says no?"
