Paris Saint-Germain are huge admirers of Marcus Rashford and have 'explored' a potential swap deal for the Manchester United forward, which would involve one of their most sought-after players.
Rashford, who is currently on a season-long loan at Barcelona from Manchester United, has been a standout performer for Hansi Flick's side this season, notching seven goals and 11 assists in 27 appearances.
Barca have opened talks with United to sign the 28-year-old permanently, according to talkSPORT.
However, with their fragile financial situation in mind, the report claims they have no plans to pay his €30 million (£26m) option to buy without first proposing 'more economical options'.

A fresh loan for the 2026/27 season could be an option, which would include a conditional obligation to buy.

Rashford's so-called 'priority' is to stay at Barcelona, according to Caught Offside. He has no interest in a return to the Premier League, with United's ongoing transitional period only 'reinforcing his desire' to continue abroad.
Beyond rumours surrounding a permanent move to the Camp Nou, a number of other clubs are also keen on his services.

Atletico Madrid are monitoring Rashford's situation as they see his style as a 'perfect' fit for Diego Simeone’s system, while Paris Saint-Germain have held an interest for years.
In fact, the reigning Ligue 1 champions have explored a potential swap deal involving France international Bradley Barcola, who has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the Parisiens this season.
Barcola has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs in recent times, including Liverpool and Arsenal.

Rashford, meanwhile, is not interested in a move to France, according to Caught Offside, thus making this scenario 'highly unlikely'.
