Morgan Rogers' future has taken a huge twist, as Arsenal and Manchester United both retain an interest in the Aston Villa No. 10.
Rogers sparked interest from Villa's Premier League rivals after impressing over the past two seasons under Unai Emery.
The 23-year-old joined Villa from Middlesbrough in January 2024 and has since become a mainstay in the side, producing 31 goals and 29 assists in 125 appearances as well as helping the Midlanders secure Champions League qualification and win the Europa League last season.
His impressive performances earned him a call-up to Thomas Tuchel's 26-man England squad for the World Cup, with the Villa man making a substitute appearance during the Three Lions' 4-2 victory over Croatia on June 17.

Despite Rogers currently being away on international duty, this has not stopped speculation surrounding his future, with Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta reportedly making the player the Gunners' top target this summer.

Left-sided players Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have been linked with moves away from Arsenal this summer, which could pave the way for Rogers' arrival, with the Englishman viewed as a dream signing for Mikel Arteta.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be monitoring the situation surrounding Rogers' future.
It was initially thought that Villa would consider offers of £100 million. However, according to Sky Sports, the Midlanders are expected to listen to offers in the region of £80 million.
Villa are in a difficult financial position, having overspent on player wages and transfer fees relative to their revenue in recent seasons, which may influence the price at which they sell Rogers should he leave this summer.
Rogers is under contract at Villa until 2031, having penned a new deal in November.
Despite Arsenal appearing to be the frontrunners to sign Rogers, the 23-year-old previously admitted that there is "no bigger team than United" following Villa's 2-1 win over the 20-time Premier League champions, in which he scored twice last season.
What has Morgan Rogers said about transfer interest?
During an appearance on The Rest Is Football earlier in June, Rogers was asked whether transfer rumours had impacted his game, to which he replied: "I think the first time it ever happened, it did.
"You're in an uncomfortable spot of not realising that people have so much interest in you, and you're not quite realising that.
"But as you get older and gain experience along the way, you know that comes with it and 95 per cent of it is just noise.
"You hear it, of course you do. You can't help hearing it. You know it's there, but you've got to use it in a positive way.
"You just try and get on with your game and focus."
