
England can secure their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup when they face Ghana in their next match with a win; however, they could be without several of their star players.
Thomas Tuchel’s side secured all three points with a 4-2 victory against Croatia thanks to a brace from Harry Kane along with goals from Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford.
It was a fine performance from England, which has put them in a fine position to secure top spot in their group; however, Dietmar Hamann questioned Kane’s ability to lead the Three Lions to the World Cup.
A victory over Ghana, who won their opener against Panama, would likely see the English claim top spot in the group.

However, England could be without three of their stars for this fixture due to fitness concerns, with Tuchel unlikely to risk them as he will need them for later in the tournament.

The former Chelsea manager has confirmed that Bakayo Saka should start from the bench as he tries to manage his long-standing Achilles problem.
Tuchel said: “Bukayo is ready and will get more and more ready.
"Once we get to the last game in the group, it is the moment. He was strong yesterday [Tuesday] in training in small spaces. It's just a matter of if the game is open and up and down."
While England will be keeping a close eye on Declan Rice, who limped off during the Croatia game in the second half, but Tuchel confirmed it was just a precaution to protect the Arsenal star.
Rashford could also miss the match, as he complained of muscle tightness after the victory, while Kane was seen wearing strapping in training after suffering from cramp late on in their opener.
England will continue their preparations for the match against Ghana in their Kansas City base over the weekend before travelling next week to Boston for their second match of this World Cup.
