Michael Olise has reportedly told his teammates that he wants to leave Bayern Munich and join Real Madrid after the World Cup.
The 24-year-old has been one of the standout stars of the summer, with scintillating attacking performances for France that have established him as one of the best players in the world.
Olise has taken his game to another level since his transfer to Bayern Munich two years ago, netting 42 goals and registering 54 assists in only 107 appearances. That form has generated plenty of interest in his signature, with Madrid president Florentino Perez desperate to make him the next Galactico signing.
Last month, Perez promised to make a club-record offer for an unnamed "great player" if he was successfully re-elected as Real Madrid president. Although he ruled out Olise, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku as potential targets, it is understood Olise has remained high on their list.

It is not only Madrid that is keen on the deal, after French outlet L'Équipe claimed the former Crystal Palace forward has already told his international teammates that he wants to seal the move after the World Cup. France face England in the third-place play-off on Saturday night, with Olise entitled to an extended break before he reports for training.
The report adds that Madrid is well aware the player would like to join them this summer, though any move is complicated by the fact that Bayern have no desire to sell one of their key men.
Last month, Bayern president Herbert Hainer shot down the speculation: "As I've said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we don't want to sell Michael Oise," he stated. "We have a very good relationship with Real Madrid and, as a result, they contacted me to say that, firstly, they have absolutely no contact with Michael Olise and, secondly, they do not want these constant speculations in the media."
Olise is still under contract with Bayern until June 2029, so it would take an extraordinary offer to convince the Bundesliga giants to cash in this summer. There have even been conflicting reports that have stated Vincent Kompany's side could look to offer an improved contract to fend off any transfer interest.
The report also states that Bayern and France teammate Dayot Upamecano has spent the summer attempting to convince Olise to remain in Germany for at least another season. There are also questions over where the attacker would fit in at the Bernabeu, with one of Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham or Vinicius Junior likely to lose their starting role if he were signed.
