Manchester United are plotting a surprise move for Marcus Rashford's replacement amid intense transfer speculation.

Rashford continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford following his revealing interview with Henry Winter, claiming he's 'ready for a new challenge'.

The asking price Man United have slapped on the player's head has been revealed, with a Premier League club thought to be keeping tabs on his situation.

Rashford, who hasn't played since his side's Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen last month, was once again left out of Ruben Amorim's matchday squad against Liverpool.

Speaking pre-match at Anfield, Amorim explained: "Marcus Rashford is still ill, so he's not available for the game today."

In his pre-match press conference, he said: "It’s the same situation. At the moment he is ill. He is not training.

"We will see in the future, but this is like a normal player, then I make a selection. So it’s the same.

"I think he is going to be out, this week he is out. We will see, but I think this week he is out."

Ahead of a potential Rashford departure, a new name has been added to Man United's reported transfer list.

According to Matteo Moretto, Man United are keeping an eye on Paris Saint-German's Lee Kang-in.

Lee, 23, is open to leaving PSG this month and is 'considering his options' despite appearing in all of his side's games this season.

But Man United face stiff competition from Arsenal, who are also considering a move for the South Korean star.

The Gunners are open to exploring a loan deal with an option to buy if PSG are willing to negotiate, according to a report from The Athletic.

Lee, who can as a attacking midfielder or on the left-wing, has scored six goals in 24 appearances across all competitions this campaign.

He joined PSG from La Liga outfit Mallorca for £18 million back in July 2023.
