Manchester United are reportedly planning to sell as many as 10 players during the summer transfer window.

It has been a disappointing season so far for United as they have been left behind in the race for Champions League football.

Currently, Erik ten Hag’s men are sixth in the Premier League table, three points behind fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and eight points adrift of Aston Villa, who are occupying fourth spot.

United fans are hopeful that new investment from British billionaire and INEOS boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe will bring the club more success in the future.

After the deal was officially confirmed last week, Ratcliffe and his team are set to take charge of the football operations.

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it has been claimed that a massive overhaul could take place.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, United are looking to sell as many as 10 players in the summer.

Players like Aaron Wan Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Facundo Pellistri will have less than 12 months left on their deals and could be offloaded.

Meanwhile, forward Mason Greenwood, who is currently on loan at Spanish La Liga outfit Getafe has been attracting interest from Barcelona.

The Old Trafford club have reportedly set an asking price for the 23-year-old.

Midfielder Casemiro could also be on the transfer list as he has been linked with a move to the Middle East after a below-par campaign.

Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri and Alvaro Fernandez, who are all out on loan, could also be shown the exit door.

Lastly, forward Marcus Rashford’s future is uncertain after a poor season and United could reportedly be tempted to part ways with the Englishman.

Apart from the above-mentioned players, Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial and Tom Heaton are all set to depart when their contracts come to an end in the summer.
