Liverpool fans are furious after hearing how Ibrahima Konate answered a question about Real Madrid.
Liverpool enjoyed a stunning summer transfer window after signing the likes of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.
They also signed defenders Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez - and plan to add more defensive reinforcements in the future amid their pursuit of Marc Guehi, who has made his transfer stance clear.
Liverpool tried to sign Guehi before last Monday's deadline but were ultimately unsuccessful as Crystal Palace refused to sanction the player's sale.

But the Reds will renew their interest next summer when the England international will be available on a free transfer.
Some Liverpool fans, however, want a deal to be done in January after hearing Konate's comments about his proposed switch to Real.
Konate, who is out of contract next summer, has been heavily linked with a move to Real, who are plotting a free transfer.

Speaking ahead of France's World Cup qualifier against Iceland on Tuesday, he was quizzed about a rumoured move to Real.
The centre-back was asked whether Kylian Mbappe has been 'pressuring' him to join the Spanish giants.
Konate told Telefoot: "[Kylian] Mbappe pressuring me to join Real Madrid? He calls me every two hours!"
Naturally, the 26-year-old angered Liverpool fans online as they made their feelings known.

One X user slammed: "Joke or not, shouldn’t be saying stuff like this when contracted to our club. Guehi better come in January."
A second said: "He’s probs joking, but you can’t carry yourself publicly like that when you represent a club as big as Liverpool."
A third added: "Sell in January. What the f**k even is this quote?"
Another questioned: "Does this guy know who he plays for?"

Konate has been at Liverpool since the summer of 2021 following his switch from RB Leipzig.
He has made 136 appearances across all competitions and helped his side win the Premier League title last season.
But this could be his final season in a Liverpool shirt as Real look to pounce and take full advantage of his contract situation.

If Konate does indeed join Real, then it would see him reunite with Trent Alexander-Arnold, who made the move earlier this summer.
