Barcelona look set to win this season’s La Liga after stretching their advantage to nine points over Real Madrid with only seven games remaining in the campaign.
Hansi Flick’s side will be confident of lifting their 29th La Liga title, and as they move towards this achievement, there appears to be planning for the next campaign to ensure they hold this crown.
The Catalan giants appear to have set their sights on one of their El Clasico rivals’ former players, as they have identified a winger who played for Real Madrid last season.
Barcelona are starting to explore some options on the left wing as there are doubts around the future of Marcus Rashford remaining at the club.

One name that has emerged as an early solution is Victor Munoz, who has impressed at Osasuna this season.

The 22-year-old left Real Madrid in the summer to join the Basque club, and since this decision he has impressed in his performances for the Spanish national team, scoring against Serbia, something the Catalan side took notice of.
Munoz began his career at the Catalan club before leaving to join another club in the city, CF Damm, before making his move to Real Madrid, so their may be a feeling that he will make a return to the club where he began his football.
Fans of Barcelona will think it would be a straightforward matter to sign the Spanish international, as he is playing for Osasuna; however, there is a potential spanner in the works.
Real Madrid have a buy-back clause in their agreement with Osasuna, and crucially, they also have a right of first refusal, which they will become active when their El Clasico rivals move to sign their former player, as per Diario AS.

If Los Blancos are truly desperate to ensure their rivals do not sign their former player, they can sign the winger for just €8m, a drop in the ocean for them.
Meanwhile, the Catalan giants would have to spend €40m, as per his release clause from Osasuna, to bring him to Camp Nou this summer.
Munoz could also be heading to the 2026 World Cup with Spain, which would increase his stock further, and so he may wish to explore his options with clubs in Serie A and the Premier League reportedly already keeping tabs on the player.
However, if he is proving to be such a talent, it would seem strange if Real Madrid were not to bring him back to the Spanish capital, as he could truly bolster their squad with real talent and top-flight experience for only €8m.
