The Most Overpowered Card On FIFA 22 Belongs To A Defender With 88 Pace

Maxence Lacroix is responsible for the most overpowered card on FIFA 22 by a long way.

The latest installment in EA Sports' popular football franchise is released on 1 October but will be available to EA Play members on 22 September.

And for avid Ultimate Team players with early access, it's in their best interests to acquire Lacroix, a centre-back who plays for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

There's already a huge buzz surrounding the 21-year-old, who has been linked with Chelsea and Spurs in the past.

But he's now the talk of the town amongst the FIFA community online after his ridiculous card emerged.

The Frenchman is a 79-rated gold centre-back and has 88 pace after seeing that key attribute increased by a whopping 20 ratings.

That's not all though. Lacroix has 80 defending and 77 physical, basically meaning no one is getting past him.

Even with him being a non-rare, Lacroix looks set to be a seriously in-demand player on this year's game.

And him being French means you can expect many to partner him with compatriot Raphael Varane, now at Manchester United, in the heart of their backline.

Lacroix got a FIFA Team of the Season card last term and one fan has already designed some incredible concepts of what his in-forms could look like this year if he performs well.

The last one, with 96 pace and 88 defending, would be an absolute cheat code.

There's no word yet on how much Lacroix will cost on the market but that information will soon be available.
