Neymar skill on EAFC 24 labelled 'illegal' will be the most overpowered move in the game

A clip of Neymar performing a skill move on EA Sports FC 24 with the much-talked about Trickster PlayStyle+ mechanic has got people talking online.

If you're not aware of PlayStyles in EA FC 24, then let me explain. On September 21, EA posted a Pitch Notes that breaks down the impact of every PlayStyle.

"Optimised by real-world Opta data and data from other sources, PlayStyles dimensionalise athletes, going beyond overall ratings to bring to life the on-pitch abilities that make players special," it reads.

"Each PlayStyle affects gameplay, giving players unique capabilities you’ll see and feel that make their way of playing more authentic.

"PlayStyles+ enhance those signature abilities to a world-class standard and give access to enhanced effects compared to their regular counterparts."

PlayStyles have basically replaced Traits in FC 24, with the aim of giving more personality – and an extra boost – to some of the world's best players.

There are many different PlayStyles in the game, including Power Shot, Dead Ball, Power Header and, of course, Trickster – a style given to players who are known for being able to perform skill moves in 1v1 situations.

In total, only five players have been handed the more powerful Trickster PlayStyle+ in the game, including Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil forward Neymar.

And despite EAFC 24 being available to play for just a matter of days, content creator OZiLLA has uncovered a skill move that will no doubt become a fan-favourite in the coming weeks.

Here's how social media reacted to the skill move.

One fan said: "It seems like he pressed R3 x2 & LT (L2) Then to do the flick you just move forward. Hope this helped for when it comes out," while another wrote: "Bro I’m literally still wrapping my head around that move."

A third commented: "We need to know what that was and how you did it."

So who else has the Trickster PlayStyle+ attribute in this month's release? Allan Saint-Maximin, who joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli in the summer, has the ability to perform unique skill moves, as does Angel Di Maria.

Barcelona pair Caroline Graham Hansen [90-rated] and Fridolina Rolfo [87-rated] have also been handed the mechanic.

In terms of the normal, less powerful version, Bayern Munich playmaker Jamal Musiala will be a Trickster alongside Ousmane Dembele, Chloe Kelly, Rafael Leao and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, amongst many others.
