Cristiano Ronaldo has collected an incredible pay packet in Saudi Arabia after signing one of the most lucrative deals in the history of sport.

In December 2022, after his contract with Manchester United was terminated by mutual consent following a fall-out with Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo made a stunning move to Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

For the first time in his career, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner moved out of Europe and reportedly bagged a mammoth contract which sees him earn £177 million per year - which equates to £3,403,846 per week.

Unsurprisingly, the wage made him the highest-paid footballer in the world by some distance, with Ronaldo also recognised as the highest-paid athlete by Forbes.

Captaining the Riyadh side, the 40-year-old has scored 97 goals in 107 games for Al Nassr and his arrival led to a number of other high-profile names moving to the Saudi Pro League.

Having signed his contract on 1 January 2023, Ronaldo has earned around an incredible £411 million since signing for Al Nassr - making £354 million across two years and a further £57 million in 2025.

According to Forbes, Ronaldo earned $200 million on the pitch in 2024 and $60 million away from from the pitch - from various endorsement deals with Nike, Binance, Herbalife, Eraku, Whoop and others.

He also launched a YouTube channel called 'UR - Cristiano', which has 75 million subscribers and 840 million views.

Ronaldo's contract with Al Nassr is due to expire in June 30 and having previously said he would like to retire there, it was reported that contract negotiations for a two-year extension with the club were halted due to poor form.

But some fans think it's time for him to move on after seeing what happened in their last game.

Al Nassr, currently third in the SPL, played Al Akhdoud in their most recent fixture and trounced their opponents 9-0 in the absence of Ronaldo, who was missing due to fitness concerns.

Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane bagged four goals, while former Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran was at the double in the resounding victory.

Al Nassr are back in action on Friday when they take on Al Taawoun.
