Georgina Rodriguez has confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo's major decision over their relationship amid the Al Nassr superstar being given permission to break a strict Saudi Arabia rule.

Ronaldo, who has played for the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, ended his time in Europe by signing for Al Nassr in December 2022.

It was major coup for Saudi Arabia, who 'turned a blind eye' to his relationship status to get the deal over the line.

The country forbids unmarried couples from living together.

An anonymous lawyer told EFE, as per SPORT: "Although the laws of the kingdom still prohibit cohabitation without a marriage contract, the authorities have recently started to turn a blind eye and no longer prosecute anyone.

"Although these laws are used when there is a problem or a crime."

Ronaldo met Georgina back in 2016 in Madrid when she worked at a Gucci store.

Georgina claimed that her first meeting with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was 'love at first sight'.

She said: "Our first meeting was at Gucci, where I worked as a sales assistant.

"Days later, we saw each other again at another brand's event.

"It was then that we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside my work environment. It was love at first sight for both."

They have been partners ever since, with the 40-year-old now proposing to her.

Georgina, 31, took to social media to confirm their engagement, accompanied with the caption: "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives."

Ronaldo has had marriage on his mind for a few years, having previously told Piers Morgan that he and Georgina both 'deserve' it.

On marriage plans in 2022, he revealed: "I'm not thinking now about that but I can see in the future I think I deserve, she deserves, but it's something that's not coming now in my plans but in the future is yes, I want."

Ronaldo, who has five children, has two children with Georgina - Bella and Alana.

Who is Georgina Rodriguez?

Georgina is the mother of Ronaldo's fourth child and his youngest daughter.

She was born on January 27, 1994, in Jaca, Spain, to a Spanish mum and Argentine dad.

The influencer, who has almost 68 million followers on Instagram, learned dance before changing careers to modelling after studying English in London.
