Fans React After Manchester United Are Handed Group Of Death
Manchester United have been handed one of the toughest Champions League groups possible, with PSG, RB Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir all in the so called 'Group of Death.'
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team avoided champions Bayern Munich but were handed Group H with runners up PSG, even though there were actually two groups left.
United though have to be in a separate side to the draw as Liverpool, for television, so they went into H and rivals Manchester City went into Group C with Porto.
After that Leipzig and Basaksehir joined Solskjaer's team, whilst City were paired with Olympiacos and Marseille, creating a very tough group.
Certainly the consensus on social media was that United are in trouble.

No way did Manchester United shithouse their way to 3rd by scraping penalties in each of their last 10 league games, only to be put into a group of death and more than likely end up back in the Europa League by the end of the year.- Ryan (@bernardooooV3) October 1, 2020
I love this game.
No better time to be drawn into a group of death than 4 days before the window closes with Ed penny pinching on Sancho. One more massive reason now to get the deal done! Come on Ed. Get it done. You know we need it!- ManUtdSense (@SensibleUtd) October 1, 2020
Last time United were in the Champions League, in the 2018/19 season, they struggled to get out of a group with Young Boys, Valencia and Juventus but just snuck through.
It landed them a tie against PSG and they lost 2-0 at home in the first leg. However a complete turn around in Paris made history, as they became the first side to go through after losing a two goal margin at home in the first leg.
They have never played Leipzig, who reached last season's semi-final, or Basaksehir, who won their first Turkish title last season, in the competition.
