
Thiago Silva has been linked with a return to the Premier League as four clubs lead the race to sign him.
Following four years at Chelsea, veteran defender Silva decided to leave Stamford Bridge last year following the expiration of his contract.
Silva then decided to to return home to Rio De Janeiro and play for Fluminense, joining a as a free agent in July 2024 and signing a two-year deal.
Despite previously speaking about his plans to retire with his boyhood club, recent reports have claimed that Silva will soon leave Fluminese early and his already said his goodbyes to his teammates.

And now, it has been reported that Silva could make a spectacular return to the Premier League.

Silva signed for Chelsea in 2020 from Paris Saint-Germain when he was already 36 years old, but went on to become a key figure at the club, lifting the Champions League with the Blues in 2021
In total, Silva made 113 Premier League appearances, keeping 32 clean sheets in this time.
Although he moved back home to Rio, his children stayed in Chelsea to continue playing for the club's academy.
Because of this, a report from Globo Esporte has claimed that Silva is looking to return to Europe, ideally to an English club, so that he can be closer to his family
And if he is to come back to England, it is a London-based team that stand the strongest chance of signing the 41-year-old, with West Ham United, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brentford said to be the favourites.
Other reports in the Italian media have linked him with a return to former club AC Milan, while transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed options are available in the Middle East or MLS.

However, as it stands it remains uncertain if Silva will continue his playing career or call it time on an incredible career and hang up his boots
But with the World Cup coming up next summer, Silva could be interested in signing a short-term contract in an attempt to earn a place in Brazil's squad for the competition.
