The identity of the masked 'Premier League star' in Baller League has been revealed.
The second season of the Baller League returned on Monday following a successful debut campaign in the UK.
Each team has a celebrity manager, including Lionesses star Chloe Kelly and ex-Liverpool and Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge.
Not to mention YouTuber Niko Omilana, who teased before kick-off that his team featured an 'active' Premier League player.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am about to tell you guys probably the craziest news in the Baller League's history," he said.
"On Monday, the 27th of October, I, Niko Omilana, the manager of the NDL FC, will be drafting an actual Premier League player, active.
"Can’t tell you who it is, we will get in a lot of trouble, it is going to go crazy."

The player was introduced when he entered the fray to take a free-kick.
But his identity was kept hidden as the supposed top-flight star wore a black ski mask.
Given the player only came on for set-piece situations, fans thought they worked out who it was.
Or was Niko's announcement part of a stunt to promote the new season? Well, in a new update on the 'masked' player, a number of posts have since linked footage of the mystery footballer to... wait for it... Kevin Weggen.

While commentators for Baller League have made a fanfare over the player's appearance on Monday night, Weggen has never played a single minute in the Premier League.
Who is Kevin Weggen?
Weggen is a German amateur footballer and plays for Calcio Berlin.
He has previously played for several lower league sides, including FC Wegberg-Beeck and SV Straelen.

His FotMob profile and recent match highlights cut an eerie resemblance to the masked player's stance and set-piece style.
Footage from his recent outings shows a similar right-footed approach, with many believing the 'masked' Baller League star is actually Weggen.
He has already had a run out in Baller League, having appeared for Calcio Berlin and is considered a 'legend', with the six-a-side competition beginning in Germany.

Weggen scored 23 goals and recorded two assists in 11 matches during the 2025 season.
