Fans Have Changed Their Mind on Masked Baller League Player's Identity

The identity of the mystery masked Premier League player competing in the Baller League may finally have been revealed.

Fans have come up with a new theory about the identity of the mystery masked Premier League player competing in the Baller League.

Following an exciting debut season in the UK, the Baller League returned last week for matchday one of their second campaign.

Like last season, of the team are managed by either a celebrity or a former player, with the likes of Lionesses star Chloe Kelly, popular pundit pair Alan Shearer and Ian Wright and lifelong Arsenal fan Idris Elba all involved.

Popular YouTube star and recent star of popular reality series 'The Celebrity Traitors' Niko Omilana also manages one of the teams involved in the Baller League, with his side featuring a masked 'active' Premier League player.

After days of speculation, fans decided that West Ham United's James Ward-Prowse or German amateur footballer Kevin Weggen could be the mystery player, but after seeing fresh footage they have a new theory.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am about to tell you guys probably the craziest news in the Baller League's history," Omilana said ahead of the first match.

"On Monday, the 27th of October, I, Niko Omilana, the manager of the NDL FC, will be drafting an actual Premier League player, active.

"Can’t tell you who it is, we will get in a lot of trouble, it is going to go crazy."

Before the second matchday, a clip posted by The Daily Mail showed the mystery player arriving at London's Copper Box Arena was shared online, showing him looking out ahead of his side's match against Deportrio.

And a lot of fans took to the comments to point out that he looked like Premier League veteran James Milner.

Reacting to the clip, one fan wrote: "100% milner."

With another simply writing: "I think its James Milner maybe."

And one claimed: "James Milner you can tell from the eyes."

Elsewhere in the comments Fulham's Tom Cairney and even Arsenal star Viktor Gyokeres were suggested as potential players behind the mask.

Regardless of who this mystery player is, it's clear that they are good at what they do, as they led Omilana's NDL FC to their first win of the season, scoring a hat-trick in the process.
