Curtis Jones has accused Arsenal of 'stealing our stuff' as he's responded to the Gunners' celebrations following their big win over Liverpool.

Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1 at the Emirates last weekend to close the gap on the league leaders to just two points.

After the final whistle, Mikel Arteta was seen copying Jurgen Klopp's trademark fist pump celebration.

And Martin Odegaard grabbed a camera and took pictures of the club's photographer in front of the Arsenal faithful.

Jamie Carragher made his feelings clear as he slammed the scenes after the game, with Piers Morgan poking fun at the Liverpool legend.

Ahead of this weekend's round of Premier League fixtures, Jones, who started the game against Arsenal, has delivered his verdict on the celebratory scenes.

The Liverpool star claims Arsenal are 'stealing our stuff' as he insists there is a long way to go in the title race,

Speaking to the BBC, Jones said: "The gaffer, the way he fist pumps the crowd, that’s kind of our thing. If they want to be stealing our stuff, it shows we’re on the right path if they’re copying us.

"They can have their moment and stuff, but there’s a long way to go."

Odegaard, however, defended his side's celebrations against Liverpool.

Asked if it's possible to over-celebrate after such a big win, the Arsenal captain replied: "No, I think everyone who loves football, who understands football, they know how much it means to win this game," he said.

"We keep working hard and we prepare for the next one, but of course you have to be happy when you win.

"It was a massive game. It could have been eight points [the gap to Liverpool if Arsenal lost] and it would look a lot more difficult then, but we showed up, the fans were unbelievable.

"I think we all did this together. You see the club, how together we are, all the players, staff, supporters, everything. So yeah, brilliant to see."
