Arsenal are said to be leading the race for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon but will have to pay a staggering transfer fee for the England international.
Gordon has struggled for form for parts of this season but has been amongst the goals for the Magpies in recent times, scoring four in the Champions League first leg play-off thrashing of Qarabag.
Set to feature for England at the World Cup in the summer, Gordon could well by plying his trade elsewhere next season as the race for his signature heats up.
According to The Sun, Arsenal face competition from both Liverpool and Manchester United, who both keeping tabs on the former Everton man.

Gordon was set to return to Merseyside with boyhood club Liverpool two years ago when Newcastle needed to sell players for PSR purposes but the deal did not materialise as the Toon offloaded other players.

After admitting it was difficult to “get his head around" the situation, Gordon signed a long-term contract at Newcastle.
But he is a target for a trio of Premier League clubs, with Arsenal believed to be leading the race and Gordon happy to move down south.
Mikel Arteta is said to be a fan and could slot him on the Gunners' left flank at the expense of Gabriel Martinelli.
Newcastle secured a club-record £125 million fee for Alexander Isak in the summer and are poised to demand £95 million for Gordon.
The 25-year-old joined Everton in a £45 million switch back in 2023 but a fee between £75 million and £80 million is considered to be a realistic price for Arsenal, the report states.
Gordon primarily plays off the left and cuts in but Eddie Howe has been deploying him through the middle of late, with Yoane Wissa struggling and Nick Woltemade better suited to playing behind the striker.
Gordon called the speculation a "load of rubbish' and Howe has encouraged him to remain focused on his work on the pitch until the end of the season.
"I'm not sure there's a lot I can do about that," Howe said, as per the BBC.
"I've not seen the story, so it's news to me. But we're mid-season, we're in the middle of some of the biggest games of his career, and who knows what's going to happen internationally with Anthony in the summer as well.
"He's not got time to look left or right. He's got to be fully focused on straight ahead and the next game, and trying to be as good as he can be."
