New supercomputer decides who will win top-four battle and who will be relegated

As the Premier League edges closer to its conclusion, the final supercomputer of the season has made its predictions.

After Arsenal’s defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, the title looks destined to remain at the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City only need two more points to clinch the Premier League.

However, the battle for top-four and the fight to survive relegation look set to go down to the wire.

Manchester United, Newcastle United and Liverpool are all battling to finish in the Champions League places.

Whilst the likes of Everton, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Leicester are hoping to retain their Premier League status.

With the majority of teams having three matches left to play, bettingexpert.com have used data from BETSiE to predict how the final Premier League table would look.

As expected, City will clinch the title ahead of Arsenal.

In the battle for Champions League football, United and Newcastle will just pip Liverpool, who will have to settle for a season in the Europa League.

In terms of relegation, the supercomputer has predicted Leeds and Leicester to join Southampton in the Championship next season, with Everton again surviving by the skin of their teeth.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s abysmal season will take another hit as they are beaten to 11th place by Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the crucial clash between Liverpool and Leicester on Monday night, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp spoke about his side’s top four chances.

He said: “I knew weeks ago it was completely out of sight.

“I couldn't see it at all, but that did not mean we would not try to get closer. That's the only thing we did, we got closer.”

Whilst Foxes boss Dean Smith said: “We were written off six games ago and all of a sudden Leeds and Everton were written off and now Everton aren’t.

“I'm expecting fight, but I'm expecting better quality than we showed in decision-making opportunities [against Fulham]. We need points and it's a home game for us, hopefully Jurgen is not disappointed in the fight he sees.”
