NFL Player Zac Stacy Arrested And Charged After Video Emerges Of Him Beating Ex-Girlfriend In Front Of Their Baby

Former NFL player Zac Stacy has been arrested and charged after a sickening video him allegedly attacking the mother of his child surfaced on social media.

In home surveillance footage from August that emerged on Thursday, the former Jets running back is seen beating Kristin Evans.

He appeared to punch her repeatedly and ragdoll his former partner, violently throwing his ex-girlfriend into the television and their baby's bouncy chair.

Stacy and Evans' 5-month-old child was present and was heard crying during the attack. Evans had called 911 but told police she and Stacy had just been involved in a "verbal argument".

She claims Stacy has repeatedly beaten her and attacks "escalated" while she was pregnant.

"He physically assaulted me several times because he wanted the money back he gave me for our rent,” Evans wrote as she filed a restraining order earlier this week, as per The Independent.

“He punched my legs, slapped me, picked me up by my arms, and threw me into my window, which broke. I had glass in my feet that I removed myself.

"He also assaulted me just weeks before our son was born. He will not stop. He will kill me and he feels justified in his actions.”

According to TMZ, Stacy flew to Orlando, Florida, to hand himself in and was arrested on Thursday night. He was then issued with two charges - aggravated battery and criminal mischief - and is being kept in Orlando County jail.

If convicted, the 30-year-old could be sentenced to 20 years in prison - though he could be hit with further charges.

NFL players past and present have been left shocked and appalled by the horrible video, with many taking to Twitter to comment.
