No-one has ever had a better, more aesthetically pleasing first touch than Zinedine Yazid Zidane and this video proves it.
The France and Real Madrid legend was an absolute master of bringing the ball down from the sky whenever a crossfield pass was fired in his direction at serious pace.
He made it look almost easy when it really isn't, such was his unparallelled ability to control the ball. And thankfully, courtesy of @niilexis, we have more than two minutes of Zidane's most wondrous technique for our viewing pleasure.
Just absolute poetry in motion. The outrageous turn from Fabien Barthez's throw is a personal favourite and the the smooth traps to stop the ball dead and dribble past opponents are just level.

Even now, as Real Madrid manage, his touch is something special.
Being a Los Blancos player has plenty of perks and one of the best parts of being contracted to the club while Zidane is in charge is the fact that you have one of the all-time greats running and partaking in training.
Evidently, the World Cup winner never lost his supreme technical ability and enjoys getting involved in training and showing he's still very much got it.

That touch to Marco Asensio is just bloody filth. Isco's face says it all. There's a few other clips of his glorious lay-offs so feast your eyes on these, too:
