With just over a month to go until the January transfer window opens, Jose Mourinho is already planning on adding to his Manchester United squad, with negotiations reportedly underway to bring Benfica's Victor Lindelof to Old Trafford.

The Swedish defender, who was having his praises sung by Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this week, has a €30 million release clause in his current contract, but United could end up forking out even more than that for the 22-year-old's services as he discusses a new deal with the Portuguese giants.

PSG and Internazionale are also believed to be monitoring the young Swedish star, who started all three of Sweden's games at Euro 2016 and has played an integral part in Benfica's last two Portuguese title victories, despite his tender years.

Speaking about his compatriot earlier this week, United striker Ibrahimovic said, "Is he good enough for United? I think he's good enough for the big clubs out there. It's up to him what he wants. Whatever he chooses will be good for him."

Will the former Sweden captain's kind words be enough to sway Lindelof to Old Trafford, though?
