Four years after king Moyes tried to sign Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona, we're having a case of Déjà vu on this cold Tuesday morning.
According to the back page of The Times today, Manchester United have sparked fresh interest in the Chelsea midfielder.
So much so that Antonio Conte's side are ready to offer the Spaniard a new contract to fight off interest.

Fabregas, who has 18 months left on his current deal at Chelsea, would reportedly like to sign for a further two years at Stamford Bridge but the club's policy is to only offer one year extensions to players over the age of 30.
The Spaniard struggled for minutes before Conte took charge, but the centre midfielder is key in the Italians future plans after making a huge impact in the second half of Chelsea's Premier League charge last season.
Mourinho, however, has monitored Fabregas' situation at Stamford Bridge since he took over at Old Trafford and feels the 30-year-old is a suitable alternative to Mesut Ozil.

That's if the German international doesn't eventually sign for United in the summer transfer window.
Fabregas almost signed for United, as revealed by former manager David Moyes in October.
"Cesc Fabregas, who I spoke to on the phone several times, was not sure of his place in the Barcelona team. I remember him saying to me 'if I don't start the first game at Barcelona then I'll definitely be looking to join you' and he started the first game at Barcelona," said Moyes in an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Moyes went onto claim that he also tried to sign Gareth Bale during his tenor, but as we all know, that never materialised:
"So it's small things, you're waiting on happening. But I don't want it to sound like hard luck stories because there were other players, but those were the two who looked to me like Manchester United players." Moyes said in the interview.
What could have been for the former United manager. Could Fabregas' signature have changed his luck at Old Trafford?
