Manchester United are in advanced talks to sign Amad Traore from Atalanta with a deal to be completed now or next January.
Traore, 18, was due to sign for Parma until the transfer collapsed at the last minute.
The Reds have now swooped in as they hold talks with Atalanta to lure the promising winger to Old Trafford.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says a work permit is still pending with the deal in line to be completed during this window or in January.
The Premier League club will play €30 million (£27 million) plus add-ons for the Ivory Coast prospect.
Traore came through Atalanta's youth team and made his Serie A debut in October 2019.

He became the first player born in 2002 to score in Italy's top flight.
