He entered the fray in the 75th minute, but failed to get on the score-sheet after returning to his goal scoring ways against Fulham last weekend.
And he appeared to cut a frustrated figure with the lack of chances after the final whistle.
According to reports out of Latin America, the Argentinean expressed his displeasure about not receiving the ball.

He confided in a member of the club's backroom staff as he trudged off the pitch.
Aguero's alleged complaints got Man City fans talking with some of them siding with their forward.
One Twitter user wrote: "Lol this is BS. If the players had the chance to give him the ball and was open, they will pass him the ball."

Another argued: "He literally was open and KDB decided to pass to Mahrez instead."
A third added: "Kev could have passed it to him clean through but gave it to Mahrez instead who hit it wide as usual. I can see where he's coming from."
Another commented: "Can you really blame him for complaining though? He's spot on."
Aguero, 32, is enduring a difficult campaign this season with injuries affecting his playing time.

He has only managed 14 appearances for the Blues this term, scoring just three goals in all competitions.
