He is too good.

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden pulled off a moment of brilliance in the club's Champions League clash against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Tuesday night.

The 20-year-old has been thrived in Pep Guardiola's system this season. He has been directly involved 20 goals in all competitions and in turn, has become a key member of City's success in recent months.

He was once again given a first-team start in tonight's game at The Etihad and it didn't take him long to make an impression.

Foden picked up the ball in the middle of the pitch, turned into space with a wonderful turn before driving towards goal with his distinctive run and close control.

The England international didn't even need to look up to find teammate Ilkay Gundogan, instead fooling the Gladbach defensive line with a sublime no-look pass.

Gundogan, as he has done so many times this season, slotted away and City gave themselves a comfortable two-goal lead. How good is this from Foden, though?

Pep Guardiola's side were on the front foot from minute one and Kevin De Bruyne made their dominance pay in the 12th minute when he put his side 1-0 up on the night and 3-0 up on aggregate.

It was Riyad Mahrez who fed the Belgian, who unleashed a wonderful left-footed drive that rippled the top corner of Yann Sommer's net.

Has this man got a weak foot?

City currently lead 2-0 at half-time after goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan. They lead 4-0 on aggregate.
