Real Madrid fans let everyone know who think should win the Ballon d'Or last night when they serenaded midfielder Luka Modric as he was replaced by Dani Ceballos.
In his 100th game in European competition, Modric produced another midfield masterclass at the Bernabeu, laying on a sublime defence-splitting pass for Gareth Bale's goal in the 3-0 win over Roma.
It's the latest impressive display in what has been an exceptional year for Modric. He was integral to Real winning their third Champions League in a row under Zinedine Zidane and then captained Croatia to the World Cup final for the first time in their history - deservedly winning the Golden Ball for the tournament.
But Los Blancos fans feel his showings warrant another individual prize. The Ballon d'Or shortlist hasn't even been revealed yet but they were chanting "Ballon de oro Lukita ballón de oro" in support of their No.19 when he vacated the pitch six minutes from time.

The chants were hugely appreciated by the former Tottenham man - though he says he's not focusing on the award.
"I'm proud that the fans and fellow players have voted for me, but, I'm not thinking about it [Ballon d'Or] too much, the most important thing is the team," he is quoted as saying by MARCA.
"If I win it, very good, I will be very happy, but if not life goes on."
His teammate, Isco, however, stated that Modric should win the prize for what he has achieved throughout 2018.
"Modric gives us a lot every game," he told Movista, via AS.
"He's fundamental for us. hopefully we can all be at his level. He deserves the Ballon d'Or, he's a unique player."
Should Modric win the Ballon d'Or? Sound off in the comments.
