What a goal.

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice scored a truly magnificent solo goal in the club's Europa League Group H clash against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night.

The 22-year-old England international, who was linked with a big money move throughout the summer transfer window, took matters into his own hands when Zabreb defender Josip Šutalo lost possession with a wayward pass.

He showcased his strength by knocking Bruno Petković off the ball and charged towards the goal before knocking the ball through goalkeeper Dominik Livaković's legs with a tidy finish to make it 2-0. A cracking goal.

Rice certainly proved EA Sports wrong with that goal. In a YouTube video on England's YouTube channel, the midfielder reacted to his questionable pace stat on the upcoming release alongside international teammate Jack Grealish.

"If I'm an 80, then I'll snap this card in half!" Rice remarked before revealing his new FIFA card. "Genuinely I will RKO or spear it!"

The 22-year-old unveiled an 82 rated card, three higher than what he had on the previous version of the game, but he wasn't exactly happy with his overall pace. You can see the brilliant clip below.

West Ham secured all three points in their opening Europa League group stage clash at the Maksimir Stadium, Croatia.

Michail Antonio continued his incredible start to the season with a goal in the 21st minute before that man Rice secured a deserved victory.

Thoughts on Rice's goal? Should he be given more pace on FIFA 22?
