Inter Milan are the best team in Europe's top five leagues this term, FBRef's combined table has revealed.

The statistical and date website have put together a table featuring teams from the Premier League, Ligue One, the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga.

And it's Antonio Conte's Inter side who lead the way at the top of the 98-club division based off points per game.

The Nerazzurri have accrued 62 points this term and are six points clear of rivals AC as they chase a first Scudetto since Jose Mourinho brought the treble to San Siro in 2009/2010.

Their points per game ratio is 2.38, ever so slightly better than Premier League leaders Manchester City. Pep Guardiola's uber consistent team have averaged 2.37 points per game and are on 71 points, 17 ahead of second-placed United.

City need five wins from their final eight games to secure a third title in four seasons.

Meanwhile Atletico Madrid look good value to end Barcelona and Real Madrid's dominance. Six points clear at the top and with 2.33 points per game, Diego Simeone is nearing a second La Liga triumph and sees his team in third in the combined table.

European champions Bayern Munich occupy fourth with 2.32 and are on course to win a ninth consecutive Bundesliga title, while Barca and Real are down in eighth and tenth respectively.

Manchester United's 1.93 points per game ratio places them in 14th, with a poor first Premier League title defence for Liverpool meaning they are languishing in 33rd with 1.54 points per game.
