Lionel Messi gifted all of his Inter Miami teammates a welcome gift ahead of his debut.

Lionel Messi treated all of his new Inter Miami teammates to a special welcome gift upon his arrival at Inter Miami.

After ending his two-year stint with Paris Saint-Germain, Messi looks completely at home with his new club and has scored three times in his first two games.

He knows Sergio Busquets inside and out from their glittering time at Barcelona but already looks to have become best pals with Venezuelan forward Josef Martinez, who appeared to lift up a seat so the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner had a better view on the bench against Cruz Azul.

Messi came off the bench scored a stunning 94th minute free-kick winner and in his first start, he developed a special understanding with Finland international Robert Taylor.

The two combined to devastating effect by assisted one another n the 4-0 thrashing of Atlanta United. Messi showed just how humble he is early doors when he dedicated the Cruz Azul win to youngster Ian Fray after he suffered yet another ACL injury.

And while he's arguably the greatest of all time, he produced a wonderful gesture. For his first appearance, Messi handed each player a brand new pair of 'Beats by Dre' headphones.

They were all in pink to as a nod to Inter Miami's colours and former Newcastle and DeAndre Yedlin was seen wearing them in a post-match interview, where he revealed all.

"You have to ask Messi," he said. Messi got them for the team. I don’t know if he bought them, but he gave everyone headphones for his first game.”

Yedlin had previously revealed that Messi gave teammate Leonardo Campana free tickets for his special unveiling, popping up in the WhatsApp chat to make the generous gesture.

After Messi led Argentina to a first World Cup in 36 years, he splashed out £175,000 on 35 gold 24-carat iPhones for players and staff.

Each phone was completely customised, featuring each player's name and number, as well as the Argentina crest.
