Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he will decide his future at the end of the season, but will only leave with Napoli's blessing.

The 24-year-old scored a brace against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, ensuring progression to the Champions League quarterfinals with a 5-0 aggregate victory. The goals take his tally to 23 in all competitions.

Whilst his prolific form has earned him interest from the likes of Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea.

Erik ten Hag is in the market for an elite number nine this summer, and has been heavily linked with the Osimhen.

However, the Red Devils may be forced to break the bank in order to lure him to Old Trafford, with Napoli expected to demand in excess of €100million (£89.7m) for the forward.

Osimhen drops transfer hint

After admitting he dreams of playing in the Premier League, the Nigerian has addressed his future, suggesting he won't attempt to force a move away this summer.

“I don’t know what the future holds," Osimhen told Sport1. "I think I’m on the right track. At the end of the season, I will sit down with my agents and discuss everything.

"I will also be in talks with the club. I am incredibly grateful to Naples. We will find a good solution together.”

Osimhen also disclosed his footballing idols, citing former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba as a player he looks up to.

“Didier Drogba is my idol," Osimhen continued. "I loved watching him play as a kid. The way he played and what he did as a guy is unbelievable.

"I look up to him. I always wanted to be like him. I’m glad I’m now succeeding in a competition he put his stamp on so much.”
