Manchester United are planning to let up to thirteen players leave this summer, a fresh report has claimed.

United’s 2-0 win over Everton at the weekend put them back on track to claim Champions League football next term. Erik ten Hag’s men are fourth in the Premier League, three points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, with a game in hand.

The Old Trafford club are on course for a successful season considering they won the Carabao Cup in February and are in the latter stages of the FA Cup and Europa League.

While United continue to fight on several fronts, they appear to have one eye on the summer transfer window. Signings are expected, with the club being linked to big-money moves for the likes of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.

Fabrizio Romano also claimed that United have held meetings with Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong’s representatives.

However, while United may receive a cash injection should a new owner come in, the club are reportedly preparing a number of outgoings to comply with FFP guidelines.

Man Utd to axe thirteen players

A Mail Online report has claimed United are looking to move out up to 13 players in the summer.

The publication alleges that winger Anthony Elanga has over 12 clubs keen to sign him, with many of the 20-year-old’s teammates likely to follow him out the exit door.

Eric Bailly could leave United permanently in the summer having underwhelmed at Marseille this term.

The French side had the option to make the move permanent for £5million once he notches up 19 league games, however, they are reportedly not interested in signing the Ivorian long-term.

Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams and Anthony Martial have also all been linked with moves away this season.

Facundo Pellistri could go on loan for more experience once he is tied down to a new contract.

Meanwhile, the Mail Online report adds that Amad Diallo will likely be given a first-team chance having impressed on loan at Sunderland.
