Manchester United host Brighton at Old Trafford this afternoon in their Premier League season opener.

New Red Devils’ boss Erik Ten Hag will be hoping to make a strong impression in his first competitive game as Man Utd boss.

The Old Trafford club significantly underwhelmed last term, finishing 13 points shy of 4th placed Tottenham Hotspur.

As for Brighton, they enjoyed a strong campaign overall, with their 9th-placed finish the highest in the Premier League era.

Here’s everything you need to know about Manchester United Vs. Brighton

Is Man United Vs. Brighton on TV? Channel and live stream

Manchester United Vs. Brighton will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event for UK viewers.

Fans can also stream the game on the Sky Go App

The game kicks off at 2pm (BST) at Old Trafford. Coverage begins on Sky at 1pm.

Man United team news

Erik Ten Hag carries a fairly strong United squad into this contest despite a few availability concerns.

The Dutch manager recently confirmed that he’ll unfortunately be without Anthony Martial, who has acted as the club’s main striker option during pre-season.

This could open up an opportunity for Cristiano Ronaldo to start the match in spite of his reported wish to leave the club this summer.

Luke Shaw and Jadon Sancho could also be unavailable to start as they have been battling minor illness issues this week.

United fans will be hoping to see the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, and Tyrell Malacia make their competitive debuts.

Brighton team news

Brighton come into this fixture with an almost fully fit squad.

The only notable absentee is Jakub Moder who has been sidelined for a lengthy period with a knee injury.

The Seagulls will of course also be without Marc Cucurella who has recently completed a move to Chelsea.

As for potential debuts, new signings Simon Adingra and Julio Encisco could both make their first Premier League starts at Old Trafford.

The match will come too soon for Levi Colwill though who was signed on loan from Chelsea on Friday.
