Chelsea have recorded one of the worst records in the entire history of English football after being beaten 3-0 by Brighton on Tuesday night.
The Blues lost badly at the AMEX Stadium after goals from Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood and Danny Welbeck gave Brighton a victory which moved them above their opponents into sixth place.
Chelsea now find themselves in seventh position on 48 points after a horrific, almost unprecedented run under Liam Rosenior.
The West London outfit have lost five straight games a row in the Premier League, having been beaten by Newcastle, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United and now Brighton.

They conceded 11 goals in those five games and failed to score at all themselves - something which hasn't happened since all the way back in November 1912.
Chelsea had a total of six shots against Brighton but not a single one was on target and they were booed by their away end for the dross served up, with Rosenior forced to apologise.
Rosenior's men look to have bottled the race for Champions League football and are now seven points behind Liverpool in fifth.
They return to action on Saturday with an FA Cup semi-final against Leeds at Wembley.
