Fan produces compilation to highlight ALL of the 'disgraceful' decisions Man City were awarded against RB Leipzig

A TikTok user has divided fans after spotlighting the “horrific” decisions that went Manchester City’s way against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola’s men punched their ticket to the Champions League quarter-finals thanks to a monstrous performance from star striker Erling Haaland.

Haaland opened the scoring from the spot-kick for City against Leipzig at the Etihad before completing his stunning hat-trick before half-time.

The 22-year-old Norwegian striker then scored twice after the break, but he was denied a double hat-trick after City boss Guardiola took him off for Julian Alvarez.

Ilkay Gundogan also added his name to the scoresheet and Kevin De Bruyne capped off City’s stunning display with a sensational strike in injury time against Leipzig.

However, TikTok user sameerftbl has now shared a compilation to highlight the ‘disgraceful’ decisions awarded to City, despite claiming they ‘deserved’ to win.

One of the notable decisions included in the TikTok clip is when referee Slavko Vincic awarded City their first-half penalty after a VAR check.

City midfield maestro Rodri headed the ball onto the arm of Leipzig player Benjamin Henrichs, with Vincic pointing to the spot after VAR urged him to take a second look.

Another controversial incident from the second-leg last-16 match featured was Ederson’s clumsy challenge on Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer outside of the box.

The City shot-stopper escaped without punishment, with Leipzig striker Timo Werner booked instead by Vincic for dissent.

Fans are divided on all of the decisions highlighted in the compilation, despite some agreeing with the handball call while others slammed the “shocking” Ederson one.

“That Ederson one is a shocking decision,” one fan said.

Someone else argued: “The team or the players aren’t responsible [for] the decisions from the referee, however, it was a 5-0 at least.”

A third claimed: “I’m a Man City fan and I think that is definitely not a pen.”

While another fan posted: “It’s not City’s fault we keep getting these decisions, though, is it?”

“Think City would have won anyways, but some of those decisions were poor,” a TikTok user wrote.

And a sixth fan commented: “I'm a Liverpool fan, but that’s a clear handball, the others I might agree with.”
