RB Leipzig have launched a new effort to keep Yan Diomande at the club amid continued interest from Liverpool.
The Premier League transfer window has only been open for five days and Liverpool have already been busy securing their first signings of the Andoni Iraola era.
In a move that appeared to come out of nowhere, the Reds secured a deal for Osasuna forward Víctor Muñoz late on Wednesday night, hijacking Newcastle United's move for the young winger.
Liverpool who paid €40m (£34.5m) to trigger the 22-year-old's release clause, with the forward impressing thanks to his ability to play on either wing and through the middle when required.

Less than 24 hours later it was revealed that Liverpool had submitted an initial offer worth up to €100m (£86m) for RB Leipzig winger Diomande.
Diomande, who is currently at the World Cup with Ivory Coast, has long been tipped as Liverpool's primary transfer target and it appears that the Merseyside club are willing to go all out to secure their man.
However, not long after it was submitted, Liverpool saw their bid rejected, with RB Leipzig reportedly seeking a fee closer to €130m (£112.6m).
And now, it was been revealed that Leipzig are prepared to offer the 19-year-old a much-improved new deal, but only if he's prepared to stay at the club until the summer of 2027 at the very least.
Confirming the details of the deal, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said: "The intention of Leipzig remains to try and keep the player.
"Leipzig really want to keep the player, offering a new contract, give a better salary, put a release clause, go wherever you want in summer 2027. This is what RB Leipzig are offering Diomande."
"On the other side the player is really tempted by the opportunity to leave now, after the World Cup. Find a new club and go immediately. It's a 50/50 situation at this moment.
"Liverpool had the bid rejected but are expected to return, they really want Diomande. Liverpool consider Diomande a top target."
Romano adds that it is also expected that several other big clubs will express an interest in the winger, particularly as he continues to impress while at the World Cup.
Who else could Liverpool sign this summer?
But Diomande isn't the only star winger that Liverpool are monitoring as Iraola looks to revamp his attacking lineup following the departure of club legend Mohamed Salah.
Among the biggest names on the shortlist of attacking options is Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola, with Romano reminding Liverpool fans not to forget about the Frenchman.

Alongside Barcola, the likes of Koln's Said El Mala, Brighton's Yankuba Minteh and Lille's Matias Fernandez-Pardo are believed to be options for Liverpool should they fail to sign either Diomande or Barcola.
Elsewhere on the pitch Liverpool have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck as the club look to replace Ibrahima Konate following the centre-back's move to Real Madrid.
However, Liverpool could face issues in their pursuit of the German international as recent reports have suggested that he is also eyeing up joining Real Madrid shortly after the World Cup.
