Paris Saint-Germain should be 1-0 up.

Borussia Dortmund defender Niklas Sule has helped keep Newcastle's Champions League hopes alive after his phenomenal goal line clearance denied Kylian Mbappe the opening goal for Paris Saint-Germain.

Group F, otherwise known as the Champions League 'group of death' has more than delivered this season, with every single club vying for qualification to the knockout rounds.

As things stand, Newcastle are going through after Joelinton lashed home a stunning strike in the 33rd minute against AC Milan.

However, the Magpies have been helped by an astonishing goal line clearance from Sule, who miraculously denied Mbappe to keep the scores level in Germany.

Fans couldn't believe their eyes, with one person tweeting: "Switched over to the PSG game, and Sule just made one of the best goal line clearances I have ever seen."

Another added: "Never in MY LIFE, did I see a block like this. Wow Sule."

While a third chimed in: "This is art. I was not familiar with sule’s game."

PSG's Bradley Barcola was also denied by the woodwork, with the French side knocking on the door at the Signal Iduna Park.
